The company behind the free-to-play title Impact Genshin released details on what players can expect if they face the challenges of the newly launched Hypostatic Symphony event. In particular, miHoYo described the encounter with the head of the Violet Lightning Concert, which is a daily challenge that players can face in both single player and cooperative mode.
This creature is comparable to Electro Hypostasis, except that it has an Amethyst Prism that deals continuous Electro damage to nearby characters in response to electrical damage. To mitigate its effects, players will have to disable it through elementary reactions, at which point the Amethyst Prism will stop causing damage until it is subjected to more electrical damage.
So far, we know that players will need to reach an Adventure Rank 20 before they can participate in the challenges. We also know that the rewards will include a Celebration – a card with the name of Hipóstase and some Primogemas, although the exact number of the latter is not yet known. More details about the event are due on January 17, 2021.
Impact Genshin is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4 and mobile devices. There is also a Nintendo Switch version in development. A new story quest was recently added to the game on January 12, 2021 along with a new banner featuring the characters Ganyu, Liyue, Xiangling and Xingqui.
