Destiny 2 Stasis PvP balance patch notes

On Tuesday, Bungie released a major patch targeting Destiny 2‘s Stasis – the newest power set in the game – to the relief of Destiny’s hardcore PvP community. Hotfix 3.1.1.1 fixes some bugs, but it mainly targets the overwhelming power of Stasis, especially in the game’s multiplayer arena.

For a complete list of patch notes, scroll down.

One of the biggest changes for all three classes is the Duskfield grenade. The grenade’s radius of traction is about a third of what it was, from 9.5 meters to 6 meters. The grenade field also doesn’t slow players down so quickly. Stasis Crystals also cause reduced Shatter damage, which means they will not be as dangerous to nearby players.

Hunters, Titans and Warlocks also saw some individual changes. Hunter’s Shatterdive now has a four-second cooldown, and Wither Blade does less damage to players in PvE. Titans no longer freeze nearby players when activating Quake Glacial and receive more damage during Supering. Warlocks actually have a buff in tracking their Super in PvP, but detonation for frozen targets now decreases.

Many of these changes apply only to PvP, and most of these skills should be just as powerful in PvE as they were a week ago.

Here are the official patch notes for Hotfix 3.1.1.1.
