Destiny 2 Coup De Grâce mission’s big rewards may not be falling

The last weekly reboot in Destiny 2 brought a new mission, Coup de Grâce, where you kill High Celebrant, ending a story topic going on in Season 12. However, Bungie has warned players that the rewards may not be falling like should.

“We are investigating an issue where some rewards are not diminishing with the completion of the High Celebrant mission,” said Bungie in a tweet. He offered no further details, but players on the Destiny subreddit reported possible related issues. This includes not receiving the promised Exotic ship, although this may be due to other steps, not yet available, that still need to be completed.

Whatever the case, you may want to postpone the completion of the High Celebrant, although Bungie may, with luck, be able to retroactively distribute the correct rewards to those who complete it in the meantime. If you want to try this out anyway – and who can blame you, with the story of Destiny 2 in such an interesting place – you can talk to Crow in Tangled Shores to get started.

This weekly reset also kicked off the last Iron Banner, giving you the chance to take on the Slaying Dragons quest line. Although this is not focused on the story like what you will receive with the Coup de Grâce, there are still rewards to be earned. You should also be aware that Bungie replaced the Dragonfly privilege on the Cold Front for those who received it, as it was not supposed to be available on the weapon and was causing problems as a result.
