Deshaun Watson’s agent criticizes Brett Favre for a controversial take

Brett Favre was flagged for being a hypocrite after criticizing Texas star quarterback Deshaun Watson.

The Hall of Fame quarterback questioned Watson, who signed a four-year, $ 156 million extension with Houston in September, requesting an exchange recently because he was not included in the hiring process for a new general manager.

“I’m kind of old school,” Favre, the Hall of Fame quarterback, told Yahoo Sports on Monday. “You get a ton of money to do a certain job and just do it, and let the chips fall where they can. I think we made a lot of money to express an opinion, but I’m not saying that he is wrong. Again, I think it’s a different day and time. “

Favre’s comment did not sell to many, including Watson’s agent.

“Brett should probably stop throwing stones from that glass house he’s sitting in,” tweeted David Mulugheta on Wednesday, referring to Favre forcing his departure from Green Bay after he infamously retired – and then stopped – after the end of the 2007 season.

The 51-year-old now had three years left on a 10-year, $ 101.5 million contract with the Packers when he left the organization.

Favre ended up being traded to the Jets, which is where Watson, 25, is supposed to like to go.
