Deshaun Watson trade odds: where 49ers land among the top destinations

As the turmoil between the Houston Texans and Deshaun Watson continues to melt away, rumors have started to revolve around the 25-year-old quarterback coming to San Francisco.

True, these are just rumors, but Watson’s discontent with the organization can hardly be refuted. Speculation about a possible Watson switch is on the rise, as are the chances of each NFL team winning it

The 49ers are tied with the Washington Football Team at +1000 chances to be the next team that Watson will try, according to the chances provided by our partner, PointsBet (Colorado). This means that by placing a $ 100 bet, you would win $ 1,000 if San Francisco managed to accomplish the feat for the three-time Pro Bowler.

Texans, of course, lead the pack with -125 odds (with a $ 125 bet, you win $ 100).

Watson’s stay in Houston is still the most likely outcome, but the saga between him and the organization worsened last week when the Texans announced the hiring of Nick Caserio as their new general manager. The contract supposedly did not go well for Watson (to say the least), as the former Clemson product reportedly considered asking for a replacement.

While coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch have declared that they believe Jimmy Garappolo will be the 49ers’ starting defender for next season, you cannot refuse an opportunity like Watson if it comes true. – especially when reappearing tweets demonstrated their love for 49ers in the Jim Harbaugh era.

Watson led the NFL with 4,823 passing yards, along with his yards per attempt (8.9) and yards per completion (12.6). He launched 33 touchdowns to go with just seven interceptions, posting a 70.2 percent completion rate.

The result? A sad 4-12 season, thanks to the weak support cast that the Texans put around them.

If the 49ers go into an operation, they will have to defeat several other organizations, for obvious reasons. Behind the Texans, PointsBet Colorado currently has the Miami Dolphins +300, the New England Patriots +400 and the New York Jets +450 as leaders. Chicago Bears (+550) and Indianapolis Colts (+600) also have higher odds than 49ers.
