Deshaun Watson is said to still be attracting commercial interest from at least six teams, despite multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits against the Houston Texans quarterback.
The Philadelphia Eagles, the Carolina Panthers, the New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins, the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos are among the teams that can still trade for Watson, the Houston Chronicle reported on Friday. Before the allegations emerged, Watson would have asked to be negotiated, but Houston did not comply.

Any team wishing to acquire Watson must be aware of the risk. Not only will he receive a ton of money for signing a four-year, $ 156 million extension last year, but the NFL could put him on the commissioner’s exempt list while the league investigates.
Watson is facing several civil cases, and the lawyer, Tony Buzbee, who represents women in the cases, said there would be five more, with seven already open in Harris County, Texas. Buzbee said his law firm would send an information packet to the Houston Police Department and the Houston District Attorney.

“Following the advice of a well-known criminal defense lawyer: our team will send testimonials and evidence from several women, who have had experiences with Deshaun Watson, to the Houston Police Department and the Houston District Attorney on Monday morning,” he wrote on Instagram.
“We will request that a grand jury be formed to consider the evidence we provide.”

Watson denied the accusations when the first one appeared on Tuesday, but he hasn’t publicly spoken about them yet. According to TMZ Sports, Watson insisted that he never “crossed the line” with any of the accusers.
