Derrick Henry received at 2K club by Barry Sanders, Chris Johnson

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is the newest member of the 2,000-yard club after his 250-yard run against the Houston Texans in Week 17 put him on top and helped the Titans win AFC South.

Henry is now one of eight players in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards in a single season, which was last done by Adrian Peterson when he ran for 2,097 yards for the Minnesota Vikings in 2012.

Henry is the second Titans player to reach the milestone, just as Chris Johnson did in 2009 as well. Tennessee is the only franchise in NFL history to have two 2,000 yard rushers.

Johnson and another member of the 2,000-yard club, the Hall of Famer Barry Sanders, adopted Twitter shortly after Henry hit the target to acknowledge his achievement.

Here is a look at some of the other records and achievements that Henry achieved on Sunday:

Henry is the only player in NFL history with five 200-yard games and two touchdowns. Henry is the only player in NFL history to run 200 yards or more in three consecutive games against the same opponent. Henry has won consecutive race titles and is the first player to do so since 2006-07 (LaDainian Tomlinson). Henry completed the Triple Crown for a running back, which is leading the NFL in running yards, hurried touchdowns and loads. Henry’s 2,684 yards in the last 20 games (including playoffs) are the maximum for any running back in any period of 20 games in NFL history, for Elias Sports Bureau.
