Deputy Lauren Boebert mocks Parkland survivor David Hogg Over Marjorie Taylor Greene Video

The day after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) filming reappeared tormenting Parkland School shootout survivor David Hogg, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) jumped on Thursday and mocked Hogg for not supposed to be “tough” enough. The bizarre provocation came after Hogg, an arms control activist and avowed survivor of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in 2018 that left dozens dead, called on the Republican leadership for not taking any action against Greene and Boebert.

Both newly elected congressmen set off alarm bells among Democrats for their incendiary rhetoric, which many believe contributed to the deadly riots on Capitol Hill on January 6. “They can put all the fences around the capitol to the real threats of @mtgreenee and @laurenboebert will still be inside until @GOPLeader takes a stand, ”Hogg, 20, tweeted. Boebert, who openly boasted of his plans to take his Glock with her across Washington, DC, responded quickly: “David, please. We all saw how tough you were when asked face to face. Give your keyboard a rest, child. ”She seemed to be alluding to a newly revived video that shows Greene approaching Hogg through the streets of DC in 2019 about gun rights and calling him a“ coward ”. Greene, known for her flirting with QAnon and endorsement of other conspiracy theories, said in the past that the shooting in Parkland was a “false flag”.
