Deputy Kinzinger calls efforts to overturn the election ‘a scam’

Without highlighting them by name, Kinzinger said his colleagues had a hidden reason: to raise money.

“It is a scam and it will disappoint people who believe this election has been stolen, who think this is an opportunity to change it,” said Kinzinger.

Based on the states he won, Biden will have 306 electoral votes, compared to 232 for Trump.

Kinzinger said to presenter Dana Bash: “We talked about the Constitution and we have to follow it and I’m sorry if that doesn’t mean that the result was what you wanted.”

He said he was concerned about where all of this might lead.

“If you convince people that, you know, Congress can change a legitimate election and everything has been stolen, there is a profound state / theory that leads to what Satan leads the government in. You can see people being driven to violence, so I’m concerned about that, “said Kinzinger.

Brooks, who has claimed the election was stolen from Trump, later answered Kinzinger’s question comments by tweet: “AK says that many citizens will be disappointed. YES – BECAUSE MANY POLITICS SURRENDER TO FRAUD!”
