The Los Angeles Lakers totally destroyed the Golden State Warriors in the first half of their fight in prime time – so much so that the most notable initial highlight was Steph Curry playing Dennis Schroder in the nose.

The move in question, which took place during the second quarter, is actually a decent litmus test for hoop fans about what should constitute an offensive foul in a pitch. Curry pretended and launched himself against Schroder, the defender, hitting the Lakers’ guard in the process. Schroder, however, did bite the fake bomb and entered Curry’s firing range, so he was whistled for the foul. But in the replay, Curry seemed to have initiated contact, and the Lakers challenged the call.

In the end, the move was maintained, which did not satisfy Lakers fans on Twitter, nor did Schroder. He started to complain to the Dubs star, who seemed to approach and offer an indifferent but not confrontational explanation. Given that the Warriors lost about a bazillion points, Curry’s teammate and brother-in-law Damion Lee decided to join the fray and spice things up, which infuriated Schroder and forced his own teammates to get together.

As is the case with most NBA scrums, nothing really happened. But because Curry and Schroder were unable to talk things over properly, they can actually remain mortal enemies forever.

Besides, I have to be honest: this seemed like an offensive foul.
