Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, the film will be released in the United States on April 23

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, the film sequence for Demon slayerThe first season finally has a release date for the United States. The film will be released in theaters in the United States on April 23 and on digital platforms on June 22, the Twitter account of the series announced on Tuesday.

Instead of the traditional track of creating a new arc for an anime movie, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train adapts an entire arc of the manga into a two-hour film. The Mugen Train arc would have clumsily fitted into one season of the show, and it also featured enough action that it would have been tremendously expensive to liven up with the rest of the second season. So Ufotabe, the studio behind the series, chose to adapt the arc to a film.

THE Demon slayer film was released in Japan since October last year and quickly became the country’s highest grossing film of all time – passing Spirited Away. Demon slayer is one of the most popular anime or manga to be released in Japan and the rest of the world in recent years, making the global and United States excitement about the next film particularly high.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train will arrive in theaters in the United States on April 23 and will have screenings for the subtitled and dubbed versions of the film. It will also be in IMAX – or 4DX if it looks attractive to you. It will also be released on digital platforms on June 22.
