Demi Moore on isolation with ex Bruce Willis, daughters: ‘It was amazing’

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis surprised fans when the ex-couple confirmed that they were isolating themselves with their daughters when the coronavirus pandemic was first emerging in early 2020.

Moore, 58, reflected on the opportunity to meet with his ex-girlfriend at his home in Idaho in a recent interview on the YouTube series “No Filter with Naomi” by model Naomi Campbell. According to the actress, who recently paraded in a Fendi fashion show, it was wonderful.

“There were many challenges and many tragedies with this pandemic, but I also think that there were many gifts and blessings,” she said. “Personally, I feel very grateful that things have slowed down and that we have had so much time.”

The family reunion took place in the same house where Willis, 65, and Moore raised their daughters Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 27.

“It turns out that Bruce came and spent time with us,” recalls Moore.

The ex-couple, their daughters and loved ones, were later joined by Willis’ current wife, Emma Heming Willis, and their two daughters Mabel, 8, and Evelyn, 6.

Moore called this a special family merger and confirmed that she formed her own bond with Willis and his wife Emma’s daughters.

“My daughters love little sisters and for me, our family, in whatever form, it is important to be united and for the little ones to feel at ease with me, and to get to know me so that they also get to know their sister better. It was very sweet and we had some silly moments, for sure “, she reflected.

Moore said it was an especially affectionate time because she, Willis and their daughters had not had that “immediate” reunion in a long time.

“It was really a blessing,” added Moore. “Everything that has been presented has allowed us to reevaluate what is important and what needs attention that has been overlooked and neglected. It was incredible.”

Moore used social media in 2020 to take a look at the mixed-family meeting in Idaho. The family posed together for photos in pajamas, and a post showed the family working on a photographic project.

In another, Moore shared a video of his daughters singing together while Scout played the guitar.

Willis and Moore were married from 1987 until the divorce in 2000. Willis married Emma in 2009 and renewed their vows 10 years later, in 2019. Moore wrote about his separation from Willis in his memoir “Inside Out”, which came out more than a year ago. She talked about the pair’s ability to get along despite the separation.

“I think Bruce was afraid at first that I would make our separation difficult and that I would express my anger and any baggage I had from our marriage obstructing his access to the children – that I would turn to all of these maneuvers that divorced couples use as weapons “she wrote in the book. “But I didn’t, and neither did he.”
