Demi Lovato shares the post-branding genre and reveals ‘transphobic’ parties

Demi Lovato left fans divided after sharing a post calling the gender reveal parties ‘transphobic’.

The singer and actress told her almost 100 million followers on Instagram that it is ‘fake’ not to see the celebrations as excluding trans people.

Parities are a recent trend, when prospective parents place pink or blue balloons filled with glitter to announce their child’s gender months before birth.

The 28-year-old encouraged her followers to share the information in a nine-page post.

The Instagram message entitled ‘Why Gender Reveals Are Transphobic’ – originally written by Alok Vaid-Menon – has been uploaded to your profile.

The post said, “It is false and incorrect to pretend that gender reveal parties are not transphobic. You cannot have your proverbial pink-blue binary cake and eat it too.”

Demi supported the message that the growing trend of dating to reveal the sex of a baby is ‘transphobic’

He continued: “This is not about political correctness, it is just … correct.

“We condemn gender revelations not because of our identity, but because of reality.

“Transphobia is not just prejudice against individual trans people, it is also a way of thinking that understands non-trans people as more natural / organic and erases everyone else.

She shared the post with almost 100 million followers

“These ideas, like the gender binary, fuel the mistreatment of all people, but especially of trans people and not conforming to gender.”

The post went on: “Gender revelations require not only the invalidity of transnity, but the impossibility of transnity. The assumption is that the baby is cis.

Some of his fans supported his position and thanked him for raising the issue.

One wrote in the comments: “I love it! You are amazing!”
