The actress will star and will also serve as executive producer on the project, alongside Sean Hayes and Todd Millner, at producer Hazy Mills.
Scooter Braun is also serving as an executive producer under his SB Projects banner, alongside James Shin and Scott Manson.
Hungry is the latest addition to NBC’s comedy development program, which includes three comedy projects suspended from 2020.
