If you are looking for a laptop that can play without spending a lot, now is a good time to check out this offer on the Dell website. He is offering the Dell G5 15 for $ 1,099.99 (originally $ 1,540 for this setup). For that price, you’ll get the laptop with a 15.6-inch FHD screen that supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, a six-core Intel Core i7-10750H processor, a 16 GB Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q graphics chip of RAM, a 512 GB NVMe SSD and a lot of ports including a Thunderbolt 3 port. It looks like a competent machine.
Dell also makes the G5 15 SE, which is shown above. There are not many visual differences, and there is a softer coloring in this discounted model. But on the inside, the G5 15 SE stocks AMD components instead of Intel and Nvidia.

Lenovo’s seven-inch Smart Display costs $ 70 at B&H Photo. It runs Google software and, in many ways, works just like Google’s Nest Hub itself. The big difference with this model is that it has a camera for video chats, with a physical key on the lens cover if you don’t want to. What is missing, however, is the Nest Hub’s bright auto-adjust environment screen that adapts to your bedroom lighting. This feature is especially great for photos, making them look natural during all lighting scenarios. If having a camera is more important, Lenovo’s smart display should be a good option for the price.

Today’s best deal on a cheap gadget is none other than SanDisk’s 400 GB microSD card on Amazon. It is selling for $ 45, which is almost as cheap as you will find, except with a holiday discount. They are great gifts, for you or someone else, that can greatly expand the internal storage of the Nintendo Switch, a GoPro camera or any compatible phone or tablet.

Google’s Nest Audio smart speaker has a $ 20 discount at various retailers, including Google Store, Best Buy and more. To my knowledge, this is the lowest price so far for a single speaker. During the holidays, Google was cutting $ 20 off the cost of two speakers purchased as a set, so this is a better deal. This model has much better sound performance than the Google Home speaker it is replacing, and looks better too. Check out my colleague Dan Seifert’s review if you want to know more about the speaker.
