Delco Suspected Murder Arrested in South Carolina: Authorities

CHESTER, PA – A Delaware County murder suspect was taken into custody in South Carolina recently, according to authorities.

The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office and the Chester City Police Department announced the arrest of Nasir Frisby, 42, of Chester, in connection with the July 28, 2020 murder at Candlewood Suites at 351 Welsh St. in Chester.

Firsby was arrested on January 26 by the Conway Police Department in South Carolina. He is interned at J. ReubenLong Detention Center located in Hoory County, South Carolina.

Frisby’s extradition to Delaware County for murder, first and second degree murder, firearm violations and related charges is pending.

Authorities said Chester city police were sent to Candlewood Suites to report a stabbing on July 28, 2020.
