The first three episodes of WandaVision are now available to watch on Disney + and each focuses on a different era of television. The first episode was in the style of 1950s sitcoms and saw Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) offering dinner to Vision’s boss, Mr. Hart (Fred Melamed), and his wife Mrs. Hart (Debra Jo Rupp). ComicBook.com recently had a chance to chat with Rupp about his time on the show. Although she appeared in the second episode of the show, she did not appear in the third. It is true that we were a little disappointed, considering that the last episode is in the style of the 1970s, and Rupp is best known for playing Kitty Forman in This 70’s program. However, the star explained why she didn’t mind losing a return to the hottest decade.
“It turns out that I looked good in 50’s clothes, as opposed to the 70’s, so that was incredible for me,” Rupp shared when asked about the set of the show. Later, we imagine that perhaps she was relieved to skip the 1970 episode of WandaVision due to your dislike for clothes.
“That outfit, there is nothing attractive about that outfit. And I lived in the 70s too. It never looked good on me. It is as if a whole decade could go away in the ‘land of clothes’. Oh, I think that if I had participated in the episode of the 70s, that would get you out of it. I think everything was fine in the 50s, but I think it would have … It’s a very good story and there are a lot of clues and that would have taken it away. If I had been driving, I would have done exactly the same thing. “
As for the rest of the season, fans can expect to see Rupp again. “I think so,” Rupp replied when asked if Mrs. Hart is coming back. “Unless I’m edited and you never know, that’s the fate of an actor. You never know. But I think so.”
