A source said the alleged Death Stranding: Extended Edition could be revealed very soon.
In January 2021, ResetEra user Navtra stated that a remastered version of Death Stranding would be arriving for both PS4 and PS5. The user also stated that this new version of the 2019 game would feature new story content for players to experience on both platforms.
Now, the same user is claiming that the Extended Edition of Death Stranding will be revealed very soon. In a new comment, Navtra claims that the revised version of the game from Kojima Productions has been “ready and made” for some time, and they expect it to be revealed within a month from now.
This would not be the first time that post-launch content has reached Death Stranding. Last year, in 2020, Kojima Productions added several items from Cyberpunk 2077 to Death Stranding, including a redesigned bike and clothes for protagonist Sam Porter Bridges.
In addition, screenwriter and director Hideo Kojima has already worked on some things related to Death Stranding in the past year. Also last year, in March, actor Norman Reedus strongly suggested working with Hideo Kojima once again, giving more credit to more Death Stranding content in progress. Now, however, we will have to wait and see if the rumors are really true.
