DeAndre Hopkins arrived in Houston two seasons after JJ Watt, who played one more season than the receiver in Space City. But Watt is now a free agent and Hopkins wants the defensive side as a teammate again.

Hopkins, who the Texans negotiated with the cardinals last season, posted a photo on Watt’s Instagram hugging him during his time with the Texans and wrote: “Let’s finish what we started …”

This prompted JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is also a free agent, to reply: “come and play with your brothers lol”

Watt’s brothers, Derek and TJ, play with the Steelers.

Texans won four 2015-19 division titles with Hopkins and Watt, but never made it past the postseason divisional round.

A report on Tuesday indicates that Watt is “seriously considering” the Browns. The Steelers, Titans, Bills and Packers are also other teams that are interested.

Titans general manager Jon Robinson confirmed on Tuesday that his team had contact with Watt.
