The incident happened along US Highway 178 in Pelion

Lexington, SC (WOLO) – The South Carolina Patrol continues to investigate an accident that occurred at approximately 6:15 am on Tuesday.
According to investigators, Willoam Miller, 28, was walking on the road along block 1300 on US 178 when he was hit by a car traveling to South Bound.
Lexington County Coroner Fisher says Miller was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the car involved was not injured.
