How about a refreshing Hawaiian Punch – on tap?
YouTuber David Dobrik has a brand new $ 9.5 million home in Los Angeles with a sweet edge: a Hawaiian Punch fountain.
“This is my favorite part of the whole house … It’s a water cooler like you get at school, but instead of water, take a look -” the 24-year-old says in a video as he drinks flowing red fruit punch from the source. “It’s fruit punch. It’s ridiculous! “
Playful Gen-Z said the idea came from Adam Sandler’s 2002 film “Mr. Deeds ”, about a man who inherits an abundant fortune – including a mansion with a Hawaiian Punch fountain.
Apparently, the film left an impression.
“This is from the movie ‘Mr. Acts. ‘ I’ve always wanted one, ”says Dobrik, who was the fifth most watched YouTuber in 2019, with 2.4 billion views, according to YouTube Rewind 2019.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house also has a wine room with 300 bottles, a cinema, a jukebox, a pool table, three fireplaces, sculptures, murals and an Iron Man suit. Neon signs around the house say phrases like “Proud, but not satisfied”. The 0.6-acre courtyard includes a basketball court, an infinity pool and a two-seat swing deck, the list shows.
An important addition to the home is a TV-ready recording studio, with blue light signals for its “Views” podcast, backlit geometric tiles and wooden shelves.
Dobrik took a break from creating content early in the pandemic, but decided to design a space that could safely accommodate guests on his program. Everyone who enters the space is tested on COVID, and he plans to start posting on YouTube at least once a week, starting with a new interview with Halsey, he says in the video.
Dobrik bought the house with a 20% discount in August and started working on customizing the space – for example, with a source of fruit punch. His friends and assistants, Taylor Hudson and Ella D’Souza, helped him customize the house, and in return, he surprised them with a new Mercedes and a new Audi on camera in the 12-car parking lot at the house.
YouTuber, which also has 25.5 million subscribers on TikTok, rose to fame as a Vine star in 2013 and now has a total of 27.35 million subscribers on its primary and secondary YouTube channels, where it became known for your vlog.
“Wait, is this the house you can afford after you stop making vlogs? What would you pay if you continued to vlog … Puerto Rico? This is the house that a guy takes and says, ‘I’m going to show this bitch’, ”says Dobrik’s friend,“ Drake & Josh ”actor Josh Peck, in the video.
