David Arquette says he owes his daughter an apology

David Arquette believes he owes his 16-year-old daughter Coco Arquette with ex-wife Courteney Cox an excuse.

In a new question and answer interview with The Guardian, the actor and fighter was candid about who he feels he owes the biggest apology to, writing that it was Coco due to the fact that “divorce is so difficult.”

O I never have been kissed star met Courteney on the set of his film Shout in 1996 and married three years later, in 1999. They separated in 2010 and ended their divorce in 2013, after initially telling the press that they hoped to work on the wedding. The ex-spouses, who are still friendly, will repeat their roles as the Dewey and Gale couple in the next fifth episode of the horror franchise, which hits theaters in January 2022.

Although David and Courteney are friendly now, the Friends alum also talked about how the divorce affected Coco in a 2014 interview with More. Courteney told the outlet: “Obviously, children always want their parents to be together. But when it comes to divorces, this is the best we could offer.”
