‘Danger!’ viewers are surprised when contestants fail to identify Dave Chappelle by his photo

“Danger!” Viewers were surprised on Wednesday when the three participants were unable to identify comedian Dave Chappelle in his photo.

The shocking moment came during Double Jeopardy! Round of the game in which guest host Ken Jennings offered what many at home thought was an easy clue to a $ 2,000 question.

“This comedian showed off his dramatic skills in ‘A Star Is Born’, playing Bradley Cooper’s longtime friend,” read Jennings.

As if the clue was not obvious enough, the contestants were even given a picture of Chappelle to help them answer the clue. Not only did no one know the answer, but no one was able to take a guess.

Chapelle has appeared in several films, but is perhaps best known for his hugely popular Comedy Central skit series, “The Chappelle Show”.

Jennings seemed a little surprised by the moment, but the spectators at home were even more irritated by the lack. Several accessed Twitter to share their frustration.

“Nobody knew @DaveChappelle? I hope everyone loses. #Jeopardy,” wrote one user.

“All three adult humans had to do in Jeopardy was to identify a photo of Dave Chappelle to ask the right question. None could do that. What?” another wrote.

“They just asked the Jeopardy contestants who it was and no one knew. Wow !!! Dave Chappelle,” other added.

“It’s pretty crazy that a photo of @DaveChappelle was a $ 2,000 lead on Jeopardy tonight – what’s more amazing is that nobody got it right!” one user commented.

“I just watched a NEW episode of Jeopardy! In which none of the players knew @DaveChappelle from his photo and now I’m freaking out,” another frustrated viewer wrote.

“None of the three nerds on @Jeopardy could identify DAVE CHAPPELLE by his photo. Floors,” another wrote.

The 47-year-old standup comedian did not comment publicly on the “Jeopardy!” competitors’ lack of knowledge about it. However, it is possible that he has bigger fish to fry at the moment, having revealed last week that he is among the many celebrities who tested positive for the coronavirus.

He broke the news just before the start of his comedy show last Thursday. Chappelle had canceled her next appearances, a spokeswoman said. Fortunately, the star’s representative said in a statement that he is showing no symptoms and is quarantined at home for security.
