“Danger!” star Ken Jennings is apologizing.
The reality star, 46, apologized on Twitter for previous comments he jokingly made – including one about Barron Trump, President Trump’s youngest son.
Jennings noted that the intended humor sometimes did not reach some readers.
In his apology, he made no mention of any particular comment, but he has received several criticisms in the past for mentioning several sensitive issues, such as the infamous photo that Kathy Griffin shared of herself holding a replica of President Trump’s severed head.

According to a TMZ report, Trump’s son Barron, then just 11 years old, believed the image was real, which prompted a response from Jennings.
“Barron saw a very long tie and a lot of meat from a cafeteria that was expired in a trash can,” Jennings tweeted, according to the New York Post. “He thought it was his father and his heart is broken.”
The tweet resulted in a fight with Donald Trump Jr., who mockingly called the game show participant “a real man” for teasing a child.
“Hey, I just wanted to admit the fact that over the years on Twitter, I definitely tweeted some uninspiring and insensitive things,” Jennings started on a Twitter topic on Wednesday. “Sometimes they acted like jokes in my head and I was dismayed to see how they read on the screen.”
The brainiac continued his apology on Wednesday and said that when he gets a reaction because of a particular tweet, he usually doesn’t delete it so he can “be buried”, inspire speech, “smart responses and even defense “.

“Erasing them was like covering up a mistake,” continued Jennings. “But I think this practice may have given the impression that I keep all the failed jokes that I posted here. No way!”
He added: “Sometimes I said stupid things in a stupid way and I want to apologize to the people who were (rightly!) Offended. It wasn’t my intention to hurt anyone, but it doesn’t matter: I blew it, and I’m deeply sorry. “
The reality star concluded by saying that 2020 taught people “that we should be kinder to each other” and that he is looking forward to entering the new year with that knowledge.

There are a handful of other tweets that have also put Jennings in trouble over the years.
Notably, a tweet now deleted from 2014 said, according to the Post: “Nothing is sadder than a hot person in a wheelchair.”

In addition, in 2015, the star made reference to several “Star Wars” fans who had the opportunity to see “The Force Awakens” before arriving in theaters because of their terminally ill condition.
“It can’t be a good sign that all the fans who saw the new Star Wars movie died shortly after that,” he tweeted, again drawing the ire.
