Sheldon will be so jealous!
Big Bang Theory former student Mayim Bialik (currently starring in Fox’s Call Me Kat) will serve as one of Danger!rotating guest hosts, EP Mike Richards announced on Wednesday. 60 minutes‘Bill Whitaker has also joined the interim list of guest hosts, which so far includes ex Today co-anchor Katie Couric, NFL star Aaron Rodgers and current temporary master of ceremonies, Ken Jennings.
For one Danger! representative, as part of the presentation of each invited host, a donation will be made to a charity of your choice. The amount donated will be equal to the cumulative earnings of competitors who compete during the weeks they serve as guest hosts.
“Alex was a legend, revered by all of us,” said Richards in a statement. “I want to thank our invited hosts, who will not only help us celebrate their great legacy, but will also add their personal touch to the program.”
Jennings was the first host invited to replace the late Alex Trebek, whose final episode aired on January 8. In its debut on Monday, GOAT Danger! competitor fought back tears while discussing Trebek’s legacy. “Like everyone Danger! fans, I miss Alex very much, ”he told viewers at the beginning of the show. “And I thank him for everything he has done for us all. Let’s be perfectly clear: no one will ever replace the great Alex Trebek. But we can honor him by playing the game he loved. (Watch the video of Jennings’ message here.)
