Lions coach Dan Campbell continues to improve his tough-guy image, even though he recognizes that he is not playing cards in Detroit.
Campbell acknowledged that if he and general manager Brad Holmes disagree about a change in the list, Campbell may have to back down, and he is fine with that.
“Here’s what I would say about a true alpha,” said Campbell, through the Detroit Free Press. “A true alpha knows when it’s time to give in to the team’s improvement, so I would say to you, in one way or another, there have been some things like, ‘Ah, maybe we don’t – you see a little more like that, I watch [this way]. ‘We had no problem. And we won’t have any problems. “
Campbell sees himself as a “real alpha”, but there may be more than one alpha in Detroit.
