Dallas Cowboys in New York Giants Madden simulation, week 17

Can the New York Giants make it to the playoffs and win the NFC East? Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys is the first necessary piece for the Giants to head for the promised land. As we did in all games this season, we simulated this weekend’s match at Madden 21 to predict how the game could end. According to Madden, the Giants’ season may not end as fans expect.

In this simulation, neither team had a significant advantage. The two teams exchanged blows in the first half, with the game tied at 14-14. Eventually, in the third quarter, Greg Zuerlein gave Dallas a 17-14 lead.

With the game in play, and with just one minute left, Dallas marched across the field and pushed the game out of reach with a touchdown by Ezekiel Elliott running. Daniel Jones scored a touchdown at the junk hour, ending the score at 24-21.

Jones ended the game with 20 of 26 for 212 yards and two touchdowns. Evan Engram also had a decent day, carrying five receptions for 71 yards.

According to Madden, the Giants may be fighting the Cowboys. With a playoff chance at stake, the Giants will need a very different result than the simulated one.
