Dallas County reported an additional 10 deaths from COVID-19 and 574 new cases of coronavirus on Monday.

On the first day that all Texans aged 50 and over were vaccinated against the virus, County Judge Clay Jenkins asked residents to apply as soon as possible.

Although millions of Texans can receive vaccines, the demand for vaccines still outstrips the supply of doses, according to the Texas Department of Health Services.
