Eleonora Srugo, the woman accused of a romantic relationship with the ex-fiance of “Bachelorette” star Clare Crawley, Dale Moss, says she is not the reason behind the recent separation from the ex-couple.
“Dale and Eleonora are, and have been, Platonic friends for a few years,” their representative, Ronn Torossian, told Page Six on Friday. “They were never romantically involved in any way. She was excited about the engagement and just wishes him well. “
The publicist clarified: “They never got involved in dating – or romantically – in any way. Any claims that they dated or were romantically involved are blatant lies. “
Rumors started to spin after E! The news reported that Srugo, a New York-based realtor, was “sneaking around with Dale” behind Crawley’s back.
An unidentified source told the vehicle that Crawley had allegedly seen evidence of Moss and Srugo together, but the publication does not describe what the evidence is supposed to show.
Meanwhile, Moss and Crawley remained silent about rumors of cheating, but reality stars issued a statement about the split.
Moss, 32, was the first to confirm the split, sharing that it was the “healthiest decision” for the pair. However, Crawley, 39, revealed on Instagram that she was “devastated” and “needed some time to really digest this”.
The couple’s turbulent romance lasted only five months. Moss asked Crawley to marry him in the 16th season of “The Bachelorette” last year, after the two met on ABC’s dating show and only met for a few weeks.
