Dakota Johnson apparently had an epic response when her father, actor Don Johnson, said she would be removed from the family’s “payroll”.
Don Johnson said during an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” this week that his daughter never asked him for career advice and that she has been focusing on earning a living for herself since high school.

“We have a rule in the family that, you know, if you stay at school, you remain on the payroll. So, you go to college and remain on the payroll, ”he said. “Towards the end of high school, I went to her and said, ‘So, do you want to visit some colleges?’ Or something like this. And she said, ‘Oh, no. I am not going to college ‘”.
He went on to say that he asked his daughter how she would “get by”.
Without missing a beat, she said to him, “Don’t worry about it.”
The “Knives Out” actor confirmed that he didn’t need to because she was cast on “The Social Network” about three weeks later.
“And the rest is, let’s say, cinema history,” he concluded.
