DaBaby was arrested Thursday in Beverly Hills for possession of a loaded and hidden weapon, TMZ and CBS Los Angeles report. The Beverly Hills Police Department told CBS that the security guard at the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive called the police claiming that a person in a group of men was carrying a firearm around his waist. Before the rapper and the group he was with left the area, the police made contact with DaBaby, searched the vehicle and found a hidden and loaded gun.
It seems that DaBaby is no longer in custody. After midnight east of Friday, the rapper shared a video of the story on Instagram with the caption “just in time for the meeting”.
Pitchfork contacted DaBaby representatives for comment.
