If you remember, Ray Fisher wants nothing more with Walter Hamada, the current president of DC Films. In case anyone is curious to know how it would impact any project involving the Justice League, we will find out sooner or later: According to The wrap, a source close to The Flash film says they have already written the planned Cyborg appearance of the current version of the film. For now, Warner Bros. has no plans to reshape Fisher.
Just before 2020 comes to an end, Fisher tweeted a statement against Hamada and Warner Bros., confirming that he “will not participate in any associated production” with the president of DC Films after investigating his allegations of racism and additional abuse in Justice League set. The conflict broke out in July, when Fisher began to speak publicly about his experience with the director Joss Whedon, which he says promoted a “disgusting, abusive and unprofessional” environment on the set. Co-star Jason Momoa was the first person involved with the film outside of Zack Snyder to publicly support Fisher ahead of WarnerMedia’s internal investigation, denouncing the treatment of both during filming and WarnerMedia’s decision to launch a “fake Ice cold announcement ”to supposedly divert attention from Fisher’s complaints. After the conglomerate completed its review, it announced that it would take “corrective action, ”But he never got to specify what those actions would be or who they would target.
In September, Fisher continued to say that DC Films president “throw Joss Whedon and Jon Berg under the bus in the hope that [he] would give in [then-DC Entertainment president] Geoff Johns. ”Warner Bros. he denied any wrongdoing on the part of Hamada before claiming that Fisher refused to speak to investigators despite “multiple attempts” to connect.
It is difficult to determine how much Cyborg’s absence will impact the Flash movie, which will explore the ideas of a multiverse. Fisher, however, will be busy with ABC Movement Women limited series.
