Cyberpunk 2077 gets more cinematic

The only version of “Cyberpunk 2077” that has so far operated only with an occasional bug is the PC version of the game. Now, users of that platform have discovered a bonus.

Specifically, several users have discovered ‘Cinematic RTX’, a new game mode designed to improve the quality of lighting, the level of detail and the occlusion of the environment in Night City to be more like film.

As a result, dark alleys are more shaded and poorly lit rooms more atmospheric. It is an expensive setup, requiring an additional 2 GB of VRAM usage.

Interestingly, this is NOT a mod, the configuration is already in the game, but it is hidden. To activate it also does not require any complicated main editing, especially on Steam. You right-click on the game in your Library, select properties, launch options and add -qualityLevel = Cinematic_RTX to the end.
