Custom models AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT from PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX, Gigabyte pictured

The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card is now three days from its official launch and we can expect many custom variants with the RDNA 2 graphics chip. There were some RX 6700 XT models that were officially unveiled by the manufacturers, but more variants were leaked through Videocardz .

Leak of custom AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT models – PowerColor Hell Gound, Sapphire Nitro +, XFX Merc319 / Qick319 and Gigabyte AORUS Elite graphics cards

We have PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX and Gigabyte models to talk about which we leaked about, which represents a total of six different video card series (XFX Merc / Qick & Sapphire Nitro / Pulse). Each graphics card comes with its own custom cooling and power supply that offers better cooling and overclocking capabilities.

PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Hellhound Series

First, we have to talk about the next PowerColor Hellhound series. The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT appears to be the first graphics card to receive the Hellhound treatment. Hellhound’s programming was sparked by PowerColor, but it looks like they are still waiting to officially present these cards, but they leaked anyway. The PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Hellhound is at a level below the Red Dragon series, so it targets the mainstream segment. The schedule will use a color scheme very different from the previous PowerColor red / black offerings.

The Radeon RX 6700 XT Hellhound features a black cover and back plate that features a triple fan solution in a double slot chassis. Each fan has a transparent acrylic blade texture with built-in blue LEDs. The rear plate has the Hellhound logo engraved right next to the exhaust, as the PowerColor is using a cooler that is longer than the length of the PCB. The board is powered by dual 8-pin connectors and features the standard display configuration that includes triple DP 1.4 and a single HDMI 2.1 output.

Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT Nitro + & Pulse Series

AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB 1440p gaming reference graphics and leaked 1080p Raytracing performance, faster than RTX 3070 on DX12, but slower on RT titles

Sapphire, on the other hand, will present its Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics cards in the Nitro + and PULSE series offerings. The Radeon RX 6700 XT Nitro + from Sapphire is a video card with triple cooling. Two of the fans have 9 blades each, while the other at the end has 12 blades and, as such, we can expect them to push a lot of air flow into the central heat sink assembly.

The plate has a solid metal back plate and extends beyond the length of the PCB. There is a cutout at the rear to allow air to pass through the aluminum fins. You can also find an RGB Nitro + logo that looks great with the card’s aesthetics. The card is said to have a 2.7 slot design and, it seems, has a large aluminum heatsink under the cover with 6 huge heat pipes. We can expect the card to be factory overclocked and will be powered by an 8 + 6 pin connector configuration.

The Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 XT Pulse is a more streamlined variant that features a two-slot, two-fan cooling design. The fans have 12 blades and push the air towards a central heat sink made up of several aluminum fins and heat pipes. The board also has a backplate and a cooler that is longer than the PCB itself. We can see the Radeon and Sapphire / Pulse logos on the side and on the back plate. The board is also powered by an 8 + 6 pin connector configuration.

XFX Series Radeon RX 6700 XT Speedster Merc319 and Qick319

The XFX Radeon RX 6700 XT product line will consist of the Speedster Merc319 and Speedster Qick 319 video cards. The card will have a black color scheme and what appears to be white or silver textured around the fans and the shroud. The front cover features a triple fan design and takes up 3 slots of space.

The Radeon RX 6700 XT Speedster Merc 319 series plates will feature 13 fan blades each on the triple fans incorporated by the cover with a ball bearing design. The main cover also comes with an aluminum mold to give it a more premium look. A large aluminum back plate acts as a heatsink at the rear, in addition to having a cutout to dissipate hot air from the back of the plate.

GPU and GDDR6 memory is attached to a copper base plate to effectively dissipate heat. The PCB also has a rigid cast aluminum tray that acts as a support and offers extra durability to prevent the PCB from bending. The XFX also has a large number of thermal pads on the vital components of the board. The main differences between the Radeon RX 6700 XT Merc319 and Qick319 graphics card are that the Qick variant is slightly economical and does not feature the RGB Lit logo or the more premium cover design of the Merc variant.

Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT AORUS Elite Series

Finally, we have the Radeon RX 6700 XT AORUS Elite from Gigabyte. We’ve already seen the standard Gigabyte variants, but this is the first AORUS model that we have to put our eyes on. The RX 6700 XT AORUS Elite comes with a sophisticated cooling solution with three fans and three slots. The graphics card has a beautiful black aesthetic and includes RGB LEDs embedded in the fan frame, which produces a unique lighting effect. The board is powered by an 8 + 6 pin connector configuration and has a rear board that extends beyond the PCB.

On the side, you can also see a beautiful AORUS logo for the Radeon RX 6700 XT AORUS Elite. The main heatsink looks huge and has large copper heat pipes running through it. As for video outputs, the card has two HDMI 2.1 connectors and two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. Prices for these cards vary at launch, but we can definitely expect to cost a huge premium over the suggested $ 479 reference price.
