Cuomo team accused of ‘relentless intimidation’, ‘constant threats’, says local TV reporter

A local New York journalist is talking about the apparent abuse she has faced from the Cuomo government while the Democratic governor is struggling to save her political career amid numerous accusations of sexual harassment.

“‘You have a vengeance against him, don’t you?’ This was the last time that I allowed anyone connected to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s government to harass and manipulate me, “wrote ex-News10 reporter Lindsay Nielsen in a statement on Sunday.” It was during one of the many accusatory and threatening calls I received from your employees that I realized that this behavior would never stop. It was shortly after that that I decided to quit my job at News10. “

“The nightly phone calls from the administration, the constant threats to call my boss, the constant intimidation to try to stop me from doing my job and telling specific stories … it would never end. The tactics used were deliberate, but evasive (. .) They walked the line of inadequacy so delicately as to make you feel as if they were acceptable, “wrote Nielsen.

She continued, “I am writing this today to make sure that those involved in that behavior at that time know that it was not only not acceptable, but that it was harmful. I applaud those who recently reported similar behavior by the same administration.”

Cuomo’s office did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.
