The incident allegedly involved an aide and took place at Cuomo’s executive mansion. This happens when the governor faces several charges of sexual harassment. On Wednesday, the Albany Times Union reported that a woman said Cuomo had aggressively groped her at the mansion.
The report to the police was made by the state itself.
“As a matter of state policy, when allegations of physical contact are made, the agency informs the claimant that he must contact the local police department,” said Beth Garvey, Interim Attorney for the Governor.
