
The price of bitcoin and a myriad of digital currencies made some significant gains on Christmas Day. Bitcoin has reached another high price point of $ 24,662 per currency, while many other crypto assets have recovered from the previous day’s decline.
- On December 25, 2020, bitcoin (BTC) hit an all-time high (ATH) at $ 24,662 per currency, after dropping to a low of $ 22,879 on December 23. BTC rose 3.7% today, more than 28% in the last 30 days and 124% in the last 90 days. At the time of publication, BTC is exchanging between $ 24,150 and $ 24,350 per currency.
- The overall market capitalization of all more than 7,500 existing digital currencies is $ 637 billion on Friday. The Bitcoin dominance index (BTC) today of the aggregate market valuation is 68%.
- Ethereum has still dropped more than 4% in the past seven days and is currently trading at $ 618 for ether. However, ETH has increased 8% in the last 30 days and 90-day statistics show that the ether is at 73%. Ethereum had a market capitalization of $ 69 billion at the time of publication. The XRP has been on the rise since the big drop the other day, after losing almost 40% in value.
- XRP is trading at $ 0.31 per unit and has risen 19% in the past 24 hours. However, XRP has dropped by more than 42% in the last seven days, 59% in the 30-day period, but the token still increased by 37% in the 90-day period.
- When the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced it was suing Ripple and the two top executives, the value of the crypto-asset XRP dropped significantly. Platforms like OSL, Crosstower, Beaxy, Bitwise, Galaxy Digital and Jump Trading eliminated the token.
- On Christmas Day, the Bitstamp exchange announced that it was withdrawing XRP from the United States on January 8, 2021. “Other countries are not affected,” Bitstamp detailed.
- Litecoin (LTC) is up 13% today and each token is trading for $ 120 per LTC. Litecoin has gained 10% over the past seven days, an increase of 48% in the 30-day period and 162% in earnings in the last 90 days.
- Bitcoin cash (BCH) is being exchanged for $ 309 per currency and the crypto asset is over 8% today. The BCH gained 39% over the past 90 days, but fell 23% in the 30-day interval and fell just over 1% over the week.

- Today’s biggest Christmas day winners include coins like stakenet (XSN), referum (RFR) and XRP. The biggest losers on December 25, 2020 include golem (GNT), trueflip (TFL) and crypterium (CRPT).
