“Cry Macho”, directed by Clint Eastwood, reaches its release date

Like everyone at Warner Bros. ‘With 2021 titles, the film will premiere daily in theaters and on HBO Max.

Clint Eastwood’s latest directing film, Cry Male, received a release date of October 22, 2021.

Based on the 1970 novel of the same name, Cry Male will see the Oscar winner play a lost rodeo star who takes his former boss’s job to bring the young man’s son back to Texas from rural Mexico.

The film, which ended production in New Mexico in December, transfers Eastwood to Warner Bros., the studio behind his latest feature, 2019 Richard Jewell.

At the end of last year, the studio announced the launch of a day and date for its list of 17 films from 2021, with films arriving on the studio’s sister streaming service, HBO Max, for a period of one month starting on the same day. in which they will be available in US Cinemas. Cry Male will be included in this plan, receiving a double broadcast and theatrical release.

Other films scheduled for release on October 22 are Focus Features’ Night spent in Soho and Paramount’s GI Joe movie Snake-eyes.
