New York Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo raised his eyebrows on Monday as he made a drastic public change in the blockades during the coronavirus pandemic.
Looking ahead to the state’s state speech this year, Cuomo called for the New York economy to reopen, regardless of the slow launch of the coronavirus vaccine.

“We simply cannot remain closed until the vaccine reaches critical mass. The cost is very high. We will have nothing more to open. We must reopen the economy, but we must do it intelligently and safely. # SOTS2021”, tweeted Cuomo .
Critics criticized Cuomo’s sudden denunciation of the blockages, even as New York companies continue to suffer the effects of several restrictions on the coronavirus.

Others scoffed at Cuomo, suggesting that President Trump, who was banned from Twitter on Friday, was tweeting from the Democratic governor’s account.
“Trump hacked Cuomo’s twitter ???” political sitarist Tim Young wondered.
“It looks like President Trump got Cuomo’s Twitter account!” Trump campaign social media director Mike Hahn tweeted.

“I thought Trump had been banned from Twitter,” wrote YouTube personality Cody Johnston.

Cuomo’s response to the coronavirus outbreak was initially widely celebrated by the mainstream media, but critics have repeatedly criticized the governor for his controversial policy on nursing homes since spring and for the random launch of the vaccine in his state.
