Representative Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, told United Airlines to “shut up” after the airline followed the same controversial route followed by its competitor Delta Airlines in attacking Georgia’s recent electoral law.

The Texas congressman fired on Monday, accusing United Airlines of “hypocrites”.
Crenshaw pointed to United’s own policy that requires photo identification for people to board their flights.
“‘Travelers 18 years of age or older must have a valid photo ID issued by the US federal or state government, containing name, date of birth, gender, expiration date and an anti-tamper feature for travel ‘”wrote the congressman, citing United policy.

“That is your policy, United. Terrifying hypocrites,” said Crenshaw. “Just shut up.”
United Airlines is the last major airline to denounce Peach State’s new voting law, joining its competitor Delta Airlines in attacking the law.
Delta Airlines was criticized after its CEO, Ed Bastian, spoke out against the law, claiming it was “based on a lie”. Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, R, revealed that Delta had already praised the new voting law, bringing receipts in the form of an earlier statement.
“In the past few weeks, Delta has engaged extensively with elected state officials in both parties to express our strong view that Georgia must have a fair and secure electoral process, with broad voter participation and equal access to the ballot box,” he says. the statement.

The recently enacted law expands early voting on weekends, imposes new restrictions on voting by mail, and adds voter identification requirements. External groups are also prohibited from distributing food and water to people who are waiting to vote.
