SEGA and Creative Assembly announced this week that they have an old favorite coming back with Total War: Rome Remastered. Originally launched in 2004, this is one of the greatest successes of all time in the Total war series back when Activision was publishing. Seventeen years later and this version is the original game with a lot of updates, which includes a 4K resolution and graphic enhancement that will make the game stand out. We have all the new additions to the game from the developers listed below, along with the trailer for you to enjoy, as it will be released on the PC on April 29, 2021.
- Enhanced visuals: Total War: Rome Remastered introduces the classic strategy title in the era of modern games with 4K visuals, native support for ultra-high definition resolution and environment, battlefield and revised character models.
- New game content: Go to war on new fronts with 16 factions previously impossible to play to play on top of the original 22 and send new merchant agents on missions to establish profitable trade networks across the map, buy rival merchants and assert the economic power of your empire .
- Modernized features: Players can exercise more control than ever with new features, such as a tactical map during battles, as well as heat maps and icon overlays in campaign mode. The existing mechanics have also been improved, including a revised diplomatic system, wider levels of camera zoom throughout the game and camera rotation on the campaign map.
- Enhanced help systems: An improved support strip has been added, including a redesigned tutorial, a new in-game Wiki, expansive advice and tips, and improved accessibility for colorblind players.
- Multiplatform multiplayer: Players can enjoy multiplatform multiplayer PVP between Windows, macOS and Linux, an innovation Total war franchise.
- Complete Original Content: Total War: Rome Remastered includes the Barbarian Invasion and Alexandre expansions in glorious new details, and players will also have access to the original ROME: Total War Collection (playable only on Windows).
