CPAC pulls speaker after the surface of anti-Semitic comments

The Conservative Political Action Conference uninvented YouTuber’s Young Pharaoh from speaking at the annual event after derogatory remarks he made about Jews resurfaced on Monday.

“We just learned that someone we invited to CPAC expressed reprehensible opinions that have no home at our conference or in our organization,” said CPAC in a statement posted on Twitter. “The individual will not attend our conference.”

Among Young Pharoah’s statements that reappeared on Monday was a June 2020 tweet that stated “THERE IS NO # HISTORICAL OR #SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF #JEWS OR # JUDAISM … ITS ALL A # COMPLETE LIE.”

“WILL GET THE BEST #JEWISH #SCHOLAR THAT YOU CAN FIND AND EXPOSE #RELIGION AS COMPLETELY COMPLETELY FOR # POLITICAL GAIN”, continued the tweet.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE TRACP CPAC SPEECH

CPAC withdrew Young Pharoah’s invitation from the annual conference after the American Jewish Committee denounced his previous comments and asked CPAC to condemn them.

“The CPAC leadership must denounce its anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and act to ensure that hatred of Jews does not take place at the conference,” wrote the Jewish group in a tweet on Monday.

Young Pharoah did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

YouTuber was one of dozens of speakers on the annual conference agenda, which is an American Conservative Union (ACU) project. ACU did not immediately return a request for comment.

Former President Donald Trump is among the high-level speakers scheduled to appear at the four-day event, whose theme is “America Not Canceled”. Trump’s speech will mark his first public appearance since he left the White House.

Trump’s message to CPAC participants will include a “big thank you” to his supporters, his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, told Fox News on Saturday.

Former Vice President Mike Pence was also invited to speak at CPAC, but declined the invitation, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News.
