The need for these injections grows every day, as New York reports a total of 32,725 deaths from coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, 1.2 million people have tested positive and the current positivity rate is well over 5%.
On Saturday, 500 elderly people were vaccinated in the NYCHA complexes.
And yet another vaccine site opens Sunday at Abyssinian Church in Harlem at noon.

Doses were also expected to be available at Brooklyn Army Terminal, one of five mega sites open 24 hours a day in the city last week, but the site was closed and the gates were locked on Friday.
People with an appointment were refused, while other appointments were canceled because there was not enough vaccine. The city says it is asking state and federal authorities to do more there as soon as possible.
The state is receiving only a few hundred thousand doses, as millions are now eligible.
Governor Andrew Cuomo estimates that it may be until April before the vaccine reaches a critical mass.
