The prime minister is asked how many people in Scotland she expects to have been vaccinated by the end of the week, and what number of supplies have been allocated to Scotland.

Nicola Sturgeon says the goal is to get over 70 every year until mid-February, which is the key date.

She also expects many over 65 to be vaccinated this week.

The government is “on track” to meet its goal of vaccinating everyone over 80 before this Friday, adds Sturgeon.

The UK government has asked the Scottish government not to provide data on the offer, the prime minister said. But despite this request, UK ministers continue to inform the press, which is “a source of frustration”.

“We want to reach an understanding in which we all agree not to publish them, or we publish them in an appropriate and transparent manner,” she adds.
