A generous restaurant in Denver left a tip of $ 6,800 at a restaurant on Saturday night.
The anonymous restaurant that goes by the nickname “bandit COVID” left the huge tip at Guard and Grace, a sophisticated steakhouse in Denver’s central business district, wrote chef and owner Troy Guard on Facebook.
The tip was $ 200 for each of the restaurant’s 34 employees, according to Guard.

“Whoever that person is … thank you very much for your kindness and your sincere and genuine and careful consideration that you have just given to our Guard and Grace team,” he wrote.
“COVID sucks,” wrote the tipper with deep pockets on the receipt, adding a smiley face and signing as the “COVID bad guy” at the bottom.
Ben Moon, a member of the restaurant staff who was working Saturday night, told the KDVR in Denver that the man’s reservation was made under the name of COVID bandit.
The big tip is that many restaurant employees have struggled to survive, as the coronavirus pandemic kept customers at home. Guard and Grace reopened for dinner service last month.

This was not the first stop for the bandit COVID. He also tipped $ 200 to each of Notchtop Bakery & Café’s seven employees in Estes Park last month, signing his receipt with the same name, smiling face and “COVID sucks” message.
