COVID-19 Statistics | March 26, 2021 | Lost Coast Outpost

Press release from the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:

A Humboldt County resident in his 80s died after a positive test for COVID-19. The staff at the Center for Public Health and Emergency Operations shares their condolences with everyone who has lost friends or loved ones to the virus.

Eight new cases of COVID-19 have been reported today. A previously registered case was determined to be from another jurisdiction. The total number of county residents who test positive is now 3,448.

Two previously reported hospitalizations are being removed from the county count. One of these positive cases was admitted to a local hospital for treatment unrelated to the virus, and the other was referred to another jurisdiction earlier this week, so that person’s hospitalization was also removed.
