Press release from the Humboldt County Joint Information Center:
Twelve additional cases of COVID-19 were reported today. A previously reported case was determined to be from another county, so the total number of Humboldt County residents who test positive is now 3,036.
On Monday, February 15, the state allocated 25,910 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to the Humboldt County, including doses of Pfizer and Moderna. Humboldt County Public Health and other approved local vaccinators were able to stretch this allocation to administer a total of 25,923 doses.
The distribution of vaccines in the state this week was delayed by winter storms, which affected some clinical clinics. Providers are reaching out to people affected by the delay.
