The 91-year-old grandmother received a booster injection at Coventry University Hospital on Tuesday, three weeks after making history with the first on December 8.
About 616,933 people in the UK had the coronavirus jab between that day and December 20, according to the most recent data from the Department of Health published last week.

“Our hardworking staff who were involved in the vaccination program have been in contact with Margaret’s family since that day and we are very happy that Margaret continues to recover well at home after her discharge from the hospital.
“It is important for everyone to come forward to receive the vaccine when they are invited to do so and, like other hospitals and GP practices across the country, we will be following the latest expert advice and evidence to invite people to be vaccinated in the moment they need it. “
