COVID-19: CVS expands vaccination sites to these locations on Long Island

With the newly approved COVID-19 vaccine from Johnson & Johnson providing healthcare workers with an additional option to vaccinate those eligible, CVS has announced that it will expand its vaccination program to nearly 150 other locations in New York, including many on Long Island.

Pharmacy CVS, which had already been receiving doses of vaccines under the Federal Pharmacy Program, targeted at specific networks, announced this week that it will intensify its vaccination program due to the increased allocation of the vaccine.

Those eligible and interested in getting vaccinated can now register for consultations, starting on Friday, March 5, and starting vaccination the next day.

On Long Island, CVS locations will schedule appointments for COVID-19 vaccines at:

Nassau County

  • Amityville;
  • Baldwin;
  • Bellmore;
  • Bethpage;
  • Cedarhurst;
  • East Rockaway;
  • Elmont;
  • Farmingdale;
  • Floral park;
  • Glen Cove;
  • Glen Head;
  • Great Neck;
  • Levittown;
  • Lynbrook;
  • New Hyde Park;
  • North Bellmore;
  • Northport;
  • Oceanside;
  • Oyster Bay;
  • Rockville Center;
  • Valley Stream;
  • West Hempstead.

Suffolk County

  • Center Moriches;
  • Central Islip;
  • Commack;
  • Copiague;
  • East Hampton;
  • Huntington;
  • Islip terrace;
  • Manorville;
  • Mattituck;
  • Medford;
  • Patchogue;
  • Port Jefferson;
  • Port Jefferson Station;
  • Riverhead;
  • Ronkonkoma;
  • Selden;
  • Smithtown;
  • West Sayville;
  • Westhampton Beach.

Those eligible to receive the vaccine at CVS must be New York residents over 65 years of age. Teachers, kindergartens and preschoolers and staff are also qualified for the state.
