COVID-19: CVS expands vaccination sites to these Hudson Valley sites

With Johnson & Johnson’s newly approved COVID-19 vaccine providing healthcare workers with an additional option to vaccinate eligible, CVS has announced that it will expand its vaccination program to nearly 150 other locations in New York, including many in the Hudson Valley .

Pharmacy CVS, which had already been receiving doses of vaccines under the Federal Pharmacy Program, targeted at specific networks, announced this week that it will intensify its vaccination program due to the increased allocation of the vaccine.

Those eligible and interested in getting vaccinated can now register for consultations, starting on Friday, March 5, and starting vaccination the next day.

In the Hudson Valley, CVS locations will schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments at:

Westchester

  • Ardsley;
  • Bedford Hills;
  • Briarcliff Manor;
  • Bronxville;
  • Croton-on-Hudson;
  • Eastchester;
  • Elmsford;
  • Harrison;
  • Katonah;
  • Larchmont;
  • Mamaroneck;
  • Mount Vernon;
  • New Rochelle;
  • Peekskill;
  • Rye;
  • Rye Brook;
  • Scarsdale;
  • Tarrytown;
  • Thornwood;
  • Yonkers.

Those eligible to receive the vaccine at CVS must be New York residents over 65 years of age. Teachers, kindergartens and preschoolers and staff are also qualified for the state.
